Leesbrook were on top form and were too quick all round for Boots. Ed Proudler attacked the blind side from an early scrum to touch down for the first of eight tries. Ryan Manning chased his own kick to score soon afterwards. Chris Impey impressed at full back in his first senior game and put wingman Olivier Francois clear to win the sprint to the corner for the next try.. Owen Lyon ran 40 yards from the restart before passing inside to Sean Room who made it 26-0 at the break.
Boots rallied with the wind and slope but were kept out by some keen tackling. In the last quarter Steve Clarke and Ryan Manning added tries before Francois added two for his hat-trick. Sean Room kicked five conversions.
Leesbrook will face a stiff test of their improved form when they travel to Notts Casuals in the 5th round of the EDF Vase on Saturday but hope to have Cyprian international Dan Thrasivoulou back from injury and former captain Mick Mead back in the quad after his return from Derby.
